Physical Stress

Physical Stress can appear in the form of headaches, digestive issues, muscle aches or feeling fatigue. Be aware of negative patterns in your life and break the cycle by taking a walk outside. Stretching your muscles while exhaling slowly into each muscle group can be extremely transformative in regards to stress management.

Psychological Stress

We often create our own stress. Awareness of ‘thinking traps’ is something you will learn in our S.H.I.F.T. program. Once you identify your traps, replace them with a resilient thought that is supportive and non-judgmental.

Emotional Stress

Emotional Stress is one of the most difficult forms of stress because we take it with us wherever we go. Be honest with yourself in identifying the emotion(s) that is plaguing you. It can help to look at a ‘feelings wheel’ to better associate a word with your emotional state. Express the feelings as they come up instead of assuming they will dissipate.
